hi, i’m taylor

(but you can call me TaY!)

Ever since I was a little girl I’ve loved all things LOVE. I cry during all the sappy love movies, I cry at everyone’s weddings {and I will cry at yours}, and I love to see a happy ending {as well as a happy beginning + middle}.

Your love story is just as important to me as it is to you and I feel blessed that I’m able to gift you with the amazing gift of photography. The memories from your beautiful wedding day are truly unlike any other; they are rare + precious, and photography blesses you with the gift of carrying those memories with you for the rest of your life.

I’ll be as in the little details and as “fly on the wall” as you’d like me to be, capturing all of the necessary “posed moments”, the big moments, and all of those sweet candids in between.

little facts + details

I got my first camera for Christmas in 2011 when I was 17. It was a Canon Rebel EOS XS. ALL of my weekends from that point on consisted of me hijacking my friends and making them do photoshoots with me in random locations. Downtown Leesburg, the reservoir, parking garages. You name it. It kept me really busy my senior year when I was an angsty teen just ready for the “What’s next?”, so I’m thankful for that, and I have so many amazing memories + photos to show for it now.

Disney is one of my favorite places on earth. I’m closer to Disneyworld so we go there more often, but I am a Disneyland girl through + through. I wouldn’t call myself a “Disney adult”, but I have the ears, the pins + lanyards, and many Spirit Jerseys. (If you have NO idea what I’m talking about, I’m so sorry!)

I think Walt Disney was absolutely brilliant, and I love the nostalgia the parks hold. I think there is so much to be learned from Walt + his imagineers. (Clearly, I could talk about Disney all day long…)

I have a 2 year old Golden Doodle named Magnolia (but we call her Maggie), and she is my absolute best friend. I never thought I’d love an animal as much as I love my girl. She has the best personality, loves to play + snuggle, and she is quite literally my child.
